Chelsea centre-back Antonio Rudiger has put pen-to-paper on a deal with Real Madrid after his Blues contract expires in June.Rudiger has been a mainstay at the heart of Thomas Tuchel's side - but the German had yet to sign a new contract at Stamford Bridge for next season.
And sanctions against Roman Abramovich made that an impossibility last month.According to The Athletic's David Ornstein, Rudiger has signed with Los Blancos on a four-year deal that will start in the summer.
The German's contract will also include an eyewatering €400million (£324million) release clause should any club tempt him away from Madrid.The report expects for official confirmation after Madrid's Champions League final with Liverpool in May.
Chelsea reportedly offered Rudiger around £230,000-per-week, but negotiations were stalled due to sanctions placed against Abramovich.
