West Ham United and Crystal Palace ace Jobi McAnuff has rubbished Thomas Tuchel’s insinuation that the dark arts were at play during Chelsea’s 1-0 away defeat to Everton.

It was a victory that moved Everton within two points of Leeds United and Burnley, who are on the other side of those dreaded dotted lines of relegation.But while Tuchel was unhappy with his team’s performance, he also emphasised his displeasure at Everton’s supposed “dark arts” at Goodison Park.
However, McAnuff did not have any time for the German’s quarrels as he believed the Toffees did not cross the line at any point.“There were some real good tackles; tough but fair, and there were many instances where people were fired up,” McAnuff said to the BBC Football Daily podcast. “Listen, there is a lot at stake, there are players who are fighting for their clubs to stay in the Premier League.“Of course, the atmosphere at Goodison Park, Frank Lampard mentioned it previously, we all know how big the atmosphere can be for them.
