Antiques Roadshow fans were left sickened on Sunday night (February 6) as they realised that one antique glass expert was sipping urine on-air.Andy McConnell had been presented with a bottle dating back to the 1800s on the show, and was astonished to discover that it still contained some of its original liquid. He withdrew some of the liquid with a syringe, emptied it into a glass and nonchalantly dipped his finger in the beverage to give it a taste, before declaring it to be "port or red wine".Andy then joked: "Unless it's got a load of rusty nails in and I'm just drinking rust!"But the real verdict was even darker, as host Fiona Bruce explained that it wasn't wine in the bottle at all - but instead a mixture of human hair, urine and rusty metal tacks. She explained to him: "You decided you'd have a go at tasting the contents...""It was too good an opportunity to miss!"
