In their new autobiography Once Upon A Tyne, Ant got emotional over how the double act felt "sidelined" when their scenes didn't make the final cut.
They took their concerns face-to-face to music mogul Simon over lunch in West Hollywood at Ceconni’s. Ant recalled how Simon puffed through four - or maybe five - cigarettes while they spilled their woes about the latest series at the time.
