Rangers star Andy Halliday has called on supporters to remain strict in following government guidelines and help beat the COVID-19 crisis.
The versatile Ibrox left back is out of contract at Rangers in the summer and might be concerned that he could have played his last game for his boyhood heroes.
But the 27-year-old insists beating the coronavirus is the only thing that matters in the current climate and is desperate to get back to action as soon as possible.
And he as he urged fans to stay indoors and away from others, he heaped praise on the frontline staff battling the crisis describing them as 'extremely selfless'.He said: "I’d just like to send my love and support to the Rangers fans all over the world.
