Former Manchester United midfielder Ander Herrera has described Ole Gunnar Solskjaer as "one of the best people" he has met in his career following the latter's exit from Old Trafford.
Following Saturday's 4-1 defeat to Watford at Vicarage Road, United felt they were left with no choice but to relieve Solskjaer of his duties and decided to sack him on Sunday morning, placing Michael Carrick in temporary charge.
Carrick will remain at the helm until United appoint an interim manager that will take the club forward until the end of the season, before they hope to then appoint a permanent successor to replace Solskjaer next summer.
