The music of the late rapper Juice WRLD, the Chicago rapper who died tragically of a drug overdose at age 21, will be the inspiration for an upcoming animated film currently in development.
Announced today in Deadline, the as-yet-untitled project will be scripted by Jaboukie Young-White, a comedian who has written for Big Mouth and American Vandal and appears as a correspondent on The Daily Show.
Lil Bibby, who signed Juice WRLD to his label Grade A Productions, is listed as one of the co-producers on the project representing Juice WRLD's estate.
The film is under development at Modern Magic, a new “event entertainment” studio created by Adam Rosenberg and Rodney Rothman.
