As an actress, Holden played the role of Mel in Kiss Me Kate (1998–2000), Geraldine Titley in The Grimleys (1999-2001), Sarah Trevanion in Wild at Heart (2006–2008), Lizzie, the Ring Mistress, in Big Top (2009), and the title role in Thoroughly Modern Millie, for which she was nominated for a Laurence Olivier Award.
Elizabeth II
Elizabeth II (Elizabeth Alexandra Mary; born 21 April 1926) is Queen of the United Kingdom and the other Commonwealth realms. Elizabeth was born in London, the first child of the Duke and Duchess of York, later King George VI and Queen Elizabeth, and she was educated privately at home. Her father ascended the throne on the abdication of his brother King Edward VIII in 1936, from which time she was the heir presumptive. She began to undertake public duties during the Second World War, serving in the Auxiliary Territorial Service. In 1947, she married Philip, Duke of Edinburgh, a former prince of Greece and Denmark, with whom she has four children: Charles, Prince of Wales; Anne, Princess Royal; Prince Andrew, Duke of York; and Prince Edward, Earl of Wessex.

Amanda Holden took a visit to Windsor Castle alongside her mum and her two daughters to pay their respects to Queen Elizabeth II.The 51 year old joined thousands of mourners who took to the streets to lay flowers in honour of the late monarch who was finally laid to rest today (Sept 19).Wearing an oversized shacket with a pair of tanned coloured trousers, Amanda kept her look causal as she walked beside her mum and daughters Hollie, 10, and Alexa, 16.READ MORE: Kate Middleton's 'calming hand' on 'restless' George's knee was to stop him fidgetingAs well as laying flowers, the family could also be seen walking together in Windsor.This isn't the first time Amanda shared her condolences to the Royal family as she previously visited Buckingham Palace in London on her own to lay a single pink flower.She has also been very vocal on social media regarding the late monarch's death.Sharing a picture of the Queen in her younger days on Instagram, Amanda also wrote: "I think we all thought our Queen would live forever…"Her grace, good humour and indomitable spirit embodied everything that made Great Britain, Great."I just can’t imagine our country without her...My thoughts are with her family #godsavethequeen."Seeing her emotional statement on their screens, fans also headed to the comment section to echo Amanda's words.One follower wrote: "Yes you are so right Amanda," while another chimed: "RIP our majesty queen Elizabeth sad loss Amanda xxxx."Now that the main funeral for Queen Elizabeth has come to an end, a private burial service will begin at St George’s Chapel where the Queen will be laid to rest.The Queen's coffin was previously laying in the royal vault at Windsor Castle since the committal service which took place this.
