Amal Clooney has exited her role as the UK’s special envoy on media freedom in protest. The 42-year-old human rights lawyer announced her resignation of her role due to the government’s intention to breach international law through the internal market bill.
What the bill is designed to do is to ensure barrier-free trade between the four U.K. nations of England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland after the Brexit transition period concludes at the end of December.
