Excited shoppers who flocked to Aldi for the supermarket's air fryer were left disappointed after they couldn't find any in their local store.

In a bid to meet demand, Aldi confirmed that the energy-saving appliance would be available in stores on Sunday, November 13, as part of its Specialbuys range.Priced at just £89.99, the Ambiano Dual Basket Air Fryer has been a hit with shoppers for its ability to cut back on energy costs, while also being compared to the popular Ninja model that is worth a whopping £229.99.In a bid to get their hands on one of the nifty appliances this time round, many shoppers flocked to their local Aldi store from as early as 8am in hopes that this might be their lucky chance of picking one up.And many shoppers were lucky enough to pick one of the supermarket's models up admitted that the scenes at the supermarket were "madness."One shopper took to the Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK Group to share their lucky purchase and wrote: "Managed to get my Aldi air fryer only one in my store was first in queue at 8am.

Queue was huge and I had to get followed to my van by staff and I got followed leaving the store. Madness."However, many other shoppers were left downhearted after their local store did not have many air fryers in stock, with some even being subjected to a ticketing system that left many empty-handed.
