AN Airdrie school marked a fantastic fundraising milestone as it hit the £100,000 mark in its donated support for St Andrew’s Hospice.It has taken just two decades for St Margaret’s High pupils and staff to collect the astonishing total in a clear example of the “special relationship” between the secondary school and the hospice.And not even Covid-19 could stop the school’s fabulous financial backing with the latest events held to take it to the magical £100,000 mark a Christmas jumper day, a Christmas door competition and ambassadors making and selling their own baubles.Andrew Flynn, the hospice’s schools and development co-ordinator, said: “The relationship between the hospice and St Margaret’s High School started in 1999 and every year.
