A PLACE in the Sun's Scarlette Douglas was left wincing after a couple brought a property tour to an abrupt halt. Scarlette headed to Valencia in Spain with Chris and Jill from Yorkshire, who hoped to find a permanent home with a budget of £150,000.

The couple wanted a lot for their money, including a minimum of three bedrooms, two bathrooms, a pool and plenty of land. However, things didn't get off to a good start despite Scarlette showing Chris and Jill a four-bedroom villa with a pool and outdoor space which was under budget at £147,000.

As they headed into the open plan living space, Scarlette asked them for their thoughts and Chris said: "It seems a bit closed, a bit narrow, yeah." Jill said she felt it was like a 'corridor' and added: "I do understand that moving to Spain a lot of the time you’re going to be living outside, so most of your entertaining and your eating hopefully will be outside. .css-16e4f55{margin:16px 0;}.css-1czxmma{background-color:rgba(252,239,255,1);margin:16px 0;}.css-1tapza8{padding:20px 15px;}.css-1bk4jdt{padding:20px.
