Good Scottish weather could only last so long and the Met Office has issued an update about when exactly things will take a turn.
The glorious spring sunshine Scots have enjoyed could end Tuesday, forecasters predict.Until then, there will be clear skies and warmth this weekend as long spells of sunshine will continue with exception for some fog and cloud along parts of the North Sea coast.Clouds will increase Monday and then by Tuesday, the forecast will shift as a mass of cold air pushes into the north of the UK and slowly sinks southwards.
The Met Office says a colder and more unsettled spell of weather is in the picture from the middle of next week. People in Scotland should expect wintry showers and for the mercury to drop as low as -3C.
The forecaster says showers are possible for much of the UK.Rain will be most frequent in the north and east as some showers are likely to be wintry.Nighttime temperatures in the north could drop to -3C in isolated rural areas, reports the Met Office.
