Coastguard helicopter lands on Scots beach as emergency services race to scene

A Coastguard helicopter has landed on a Scots beach as mercy crews have raced to the ongoing incident. A multi-emergency response has scrambled to Kinghorn Beach in Fife.Images show specialist diving units, a rescue helicopter, ambulance crews and police assisting with the ongoing incident.The response is believed to have been called to the beach one hour ago.The nature of the incident is currently unknown.It is also unknown if there are any injuries.Police Scotland, has, however, confirmed that they are assisting with the ongoing operation.

The Daily Record has approached HM Coastguard and police for more details.Meanwhile, Outlander fans have been flocking to the area to see Sam Heughan as series seven of the drama is being filmed in nearby Burntisland.
