A Place In The Sun presenter Laura Hamilton has revealed that she was body-shamed as a 16-year-old - and admits the comments still affect her.
The presenter, 38, bravely told how she was ridiculed for her legs as a teen and says she can't "unhear" the comments. She says that she still finds it "hard" whenever she receives negative comments on social media regarding her appearance.
And while Laura admits that she has grown to realise personal happiness is more important than the opinion of others, she says body-shaming can still hurt.
Speaking to The Sun, she said that she had muscular legs as a result of ballet as a teen, while her friends were more slender in appearance.
