More than 250 homes in Bolton have been without electricity since yesterday, with engineers battling to restore their supply.
Electricity North West (ENW) says the outage has been caused by a fault at an electricity substation. The lights went out in an area of Tonge Moor and a free-of-charge food and refreshments van has been set up on the Food Shopper store car park on Crompton Way for residents.
A spokesperson said: "Yesterday morning, a fault at an electricity substation caused a power cut to 254 properties in Tonge Moor.
We immediately attended the site to assess the damage and make repairs.
