A change to working hours when claiming tax credits would normally need to be reported to HMRC.However, there were temporary changes in place due to the virus meaning the hours didn't need to be logged.
As the concession will now end, from November 25 anyone getting the benefits must tell HMRC of the change to their hours.The amount you get is impacted by the hours you work, so changes after this date could see your tax credits go up or down.
