TikTok user @mishhinty decided to spruce up her government ID photos so she could look her best when passing through airport checkpoints.

She shared a snap of her 2016 passport in which she branded it a ‘dark time’ – but has now ‘yassified’ her ID photo with a very simple trick.In a TikTok video that has now racked up 1.5 million views, the woman exposed how she has made the snap Instagram-worthy.She explained: “When my genius brain told me to wear mink lashes while taking both of my ID photos.”In the clip, the woman had perfectly styled her blonde hair, while she had applied minimal makeup for a natural look.But to really accentuate her features, she applied the faux mink lashes that made her eyes pop.She shared the second ID photo that was taken in colour and this time her dewy makeup made her skin glow - a real far cry from the usual drab official photos!The woman admitted that all they asked her to do was “not smile".We better run to go get some lashes before we head on holiday!Amazed at the woman’s passport photo trick, many people fled to the comments to thank her for the inspiration.One person commented: “Literally genius.”Another user added:”Ugh I wish I had done this before getting my passport picture done, now I’m stuck looking like an inmate for the next 10 years.”Whilst someone else voiced: “Exactly what I needed to see before getting a new ID pic.”Someone else praised: “Stunning”As a fifth person remarked: “Damn it.
