Users on the app have found a clever way to create bright, bold liner with only eyeshadow and some micellar water. It all started when an influencer named Monet McMichael got creative and decided to see whether she could save some money by creating her own DIY coloured eyeliner – and it’s so impressive, the clip has since been viewed over 17.8 million times. “So I heard from a friend of a friend, if you take some micellar water and you dip it into an eyeshadow, you can make any colour graphic liner,” she explains in the viral video. “If this works, I’m going to be so excited,” McMichael says, as she sorts through her palettes before deciding to mix two different blue shades. “I’m taking some of this micellar water and I’m going to take it in the corner like this,” she adds, whilst dipping her soaked brush into the shades. “I’m literally making watercolours.” The user then takes her brush and draws a coloured eyeliner wing so perfect, she looks visibly shocked at the results. “Wait, wait, wait.
