Ónagh Martin, from Co Tyrone, Ireland, knew she had a problem with food but didn't know how to embark on her transformation.She tried various slimming groups, diet pills and shakes, but saw that nothing seemed to work, reports Belfast Live.But three years ago her incredible journey began after joining a gym in Omagh, owned by Noreen McDermott.Soon after she realised she might have found something she was good at and became passionate about it.
The 35-year-old revealed how her life changed since she first set foot in the gym three years ago.She said: "My personality was horrible as well I wasn't a nice person because I was so unhappy in myself but I decided to give it ago."When I started powerlifting I would have been 17st 7lbs or 18st and I decided then I wanted to lose weight. "Noreen really helped me, I was just a member of the gym at the time and had no interest in becoming a personal trainer."Admitting she had a bad relationship with food, Ónagh decided to make a change so she completed her level 2 in personal training.She claimed it truly changed her life as she owes much of her success to Noreen at Fit for Life.The slimmer added: "She had some much belief in me I didn't want to let her down.
