Woman found dead in East Kilbride house

Police in East Kilbride have been investigating the death of a 43-year-old woman.Her body was found at a house on North Berwick Crescent in the Greenhills area on Monday afternoon.Officers were called just before 2pm and confirmed the “sudden death” of the woman.However, a police source said the death was as of yet “unexplained”.A Police Scotland spokeswoman added: “Officers were called to an address on North Berwick Crescent around 1.50pm following the sudden death of a 43-year-old woman.“There are not believed to be any suspicious circumstances but the death is currently being treated as unexplained.“A report will be sent to the Procurator Fiscal.”Reports online spoke of a high volume of police and paramedic activity in the area, with
