bus driver in France has died after he was savagely beaten by passengers after they refused his requests to wear face masks.
Philippe Monguillot was left brain dead as a result of the brutal assault which took place in the southwestern city of Bayonee.
The attack was launched after the 59-year-old challenged three people trying to board his bus and asked them to produce tickets and cover their faces, which is now mandatory on French public transport.
The father of three succumbed to his injuries almost a week later in hospital on Friday, July 10, reports the Mirror. Monguillot leaves behind a wife and daughters aged 18, 21 and 24.His 18-year-old daughter, Marie, said that his family and doctors had decided to “let him go”.She described.
