A woman has been arrested on suspicion of murder after a man was stabbed to death by a group of men who fled the scene in a Mercedes.
The woman, aged 45, is currently in custody after the attack in Southend, Essex, just before midnight. Essex Police have now launched a murder probe and believe the man could have been wounded in a "targeted attack".
Officers were called to the scene in Cromer Road at 11.50pm to reports a man in his 20s had been found with stab wounds. Detectives are appealing for information to track down the suspects.
