Wigan Warriors have extended the contract of forward Willie Isa on a two-year deal. The popular Warrior has made 168 appearances for the club since his arrival from Widnes in 2016 and has been a consistent performer throughout his time at the club.
Last year, he was trusted with the captaincy late in the season when other players were unavailable, leading the team to victory against Catalans Dragons.
The 32-year-old will now remain with the club until the end of 2023. “I’m absolutely delighted to have signed a new contract with this great club," said Isa, who started his career in the NRL before joining Castleford Tigers in 2011. "There are exciting times ahead under the new coaching management for the club.
