He previously dabbled in the soap world with his role on Hollyoaks, and now Will Mellor is all set to join Coronation Street, where he will play a drug lord.The actor, who lost his father in April last year, will play character Harvey who will lure teenager Simon Barlow into the scary world of drug gangs.

Simon's mother Leanne Battersby will desperately try to save her son from the gangs he's become a part of, but Harvey will start threatening Peter Barlow's son when he wants out.
