Alphonso Davies says he had 'no hesitation' about joining Bayern Munich last year, despite being highly recommended to sign for Manchester United.
The Canadian teenager penned a new long-term deal at Bayern last week after a breakthrough season which has seen him establish himself as one of the hottest youngsters in Europe.
Davies, 19, was offered a trial at United two years ago but instead stayed in his homeland to attend a training camp with the Canada Olympic team.
Last month United's former international scout Jorge Alvial told MEN Sport he sent at least 40 reports to United regarding Davies, who at the time was valued at just $2million by Vancouver Whitecaps.
