It's time to 'dust off your finery' In lieu of cancelled events due to Coronavirus, many organisers are turning to online solutions, with participants tuning in from the comfort of their own homes.
The annual Glyndebourne Festival was scheduled to start on 14th July 2020, staging world-class opera in an auditorium nestled in the Sussex countryside.
In response to COVID-19, however, the event has moved to a virtual stage with fans able to stream free, full-length past productions starting every Sunday at 5pm from 24th May.
Renamed ‘Glyndebourne Open House’, the performances will be available via YouTube and their website. The programme begins with Michael Grandage’s Le nozze di Figaro, followed by Jonathan Kent’s Don Giovanni and Nicholas
