For many students, grades will determine whether or not they get a place at the university of their choice. Results day comes after exams were cancelled for the second year in a row due to the coronavirus pandemic.
In England, students will get their A level and AS level results on Tuesday, August 10. Teachers are asked to consider a range of evidence, including mock exams, coursework, and in-class assessments using questions from exam boards, to make decisions on pupils’ grades.
