Coronavirus outbreaks around the world have wreaked havoc on holidaymakers' travel plans, with airlines forced to cancel flights and plenty of uncertainty as to what it means for future holidays.

However, Virgin Atlantic has offered a compromise for passengers who want to book a holiday where the FCO doesn't advise against travel.

The airline has announced that until the end of March, it will be waiving its 'change fee' on flights - meaning that if passengers decide they want to change their flight date, they can do so for free.

The offer will be available for tickets booked between the 4th-31st March 2020, and will include for travel up to (and including) the 30th September 2020.
