Victor Lindelof's season reached a new low on Wednesday night. The Manchester United defender, part of a back line at Old Trafford that has shipped 11 goals in the last four matches, dropped a clanger for Sweden in World Cup qualifying at Georgia.
Georgia were already 1-0 ahead thanks to Khvicha Kvaratskhelia when he picked the ball up on the halfway line and thought about making himself a hero.
Kvaratskhelia headed for Lindelof and the United defender, inexplicably, tried to clear the ball rather than make a tackle and ended up whacking it against the Georgia winger, who was given a clear run on goal and slotted home past Robin Olsen.
