Exmouth local Juniper Connal was walking her dogs on June 26 when she spied the 30cm-long snake "lounging in the sun" on a commonly used path.

After posting a photo of the creature to a local Facebook community page, she was informed it was an adder. She kept a good distance away from it and is now warning others to be careful in the area.There.
