University staff at Stirling are into their final day of strike action in a dispute over “totally unacceptable” pay and conditions.The three-day walkout - which began on Wednesday - involves members of the University and College Union (UCU) Scotland and will see around 10,000 staff from ten Scottish universities join colleagues from across the UK.The industrial action has been called after the union claimed staff pay had fallen significantly over the last decade, while issues over insecure contracts remained for many staff.Meanwhile, the UCU has also hit out at the scale of proposed cuts to staff pensions, which it says could harm the guaranteed retirement incomes of some workers by as much as 35 per cent.However, the chief executive of the
