Ukraine mum breaks down as she identifies body of son killed and 'thrown into well'

Ukrainian mother has been filmed weeping as she recognised her son's dead body dumped down the bottom of a well. Shocking new footage from the conflict in Ukraine shows a mum peering into a hole surrounded by rubble before making the heartbreaking realisation.

The clip, posted on social media by independent Russian language broadcaster Current Time TV, was reportedly taken in the region around the capital of Kyiv on Sunday (April 10).The unnamed woman can be seen approaching the well in the ground while accompanied by another woman and a man.Looking for a few seconds, she then screams out in horror as she recognises the body of her child.

A camera shot then shows a man's legs protruding out of water at the bottom of a concrete well, appearing to show that he had been thrown into it head first.The distressed mum is then seen sobbing loudly before being held up and moved by four men as she becomes more and more frantic.Footage recorded nearby shows burnt-out tanks bearing the 'V' sign, one of the symbols used by Putin's forces.The harrowing video depicts just one of the terrible discoveries made in the towns and villages surrounding Kyiv in the wake of the Russian retreat from the area.Meanwhile Russian forces have reportedly dropped a "poisonous substance" from a drone in Mariupol, according to the city's Azov Battalion.The substance which is from an "unknown origin" was used to target civilians and is reported to have left people suffering from respiratory failure and neurological problems.The Azov Regiment in Mariupol reports what could be the Russian use of chemical weapons against the entrenched Ukrainian garrison in the city.The Regiment's report reads: "The victims have respiratory failure, vestibulo-atactic.
