‘Seinfeld’ superfan creates Lego set celebrating 30th anniversary
available to the general public for $79.99 on August 1. “I was just a kid growing up in a small town in Australia when ‘Seinfeld’ debuted in 1989,” Waller, 42, told The Post. The lauded comedy, which first aired on July 5 of that year, follows the hilarious misadventures of its eponymous frontman Jerry Seinfeld, now 67, and his band of single-in-the-city buddies George Costanza (played by Jason Alexander, 61), Elaine Benes (Julia Louis-Dreyfus, 60) and Cosmo Kramer (Michael Richards, 71). “It became one of my favorite shows because it gave me a window into New York City,” added Waller, who had worked with Lego previously, and pitched a “Seinfeld” toy via the brand’s “Ideas” platform.
