Britain is set to sizzle in its final day of 30C temperatures today before a significant drop over the weekend bringing heavy rain and thunderstorms.
It comes after a heatwave hit the country earlier this week, with highs of 33C registered in parts of the UK. Yesterday was the hottest day recorded so far in 2020.
Under eased lockdown restrictions, Britons can enjoy the heat and visit parks, beaches and, when adhering to social distancing measures, see friends and family.
