A yellow weather warning has been issued with strong winds from Storm Kyle expected to batter the UK this week. The Met Office warning will be in place from Wednesday to Thursday.
The blustery conditions are expected to cause some disruption to travel and power supplies. The shift is set to come over the next week with warm and tropical air pushing in from the south containing the remnants of Tropical Storm Kyle.
Cornwall, west Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland are expected to be worst hit with gust of up to 70mph. The warning is in place from 8pm on Wednesday until midnight on Thursday.
