Paddy Pimblett had a day to remember as he swapped the octagon for the race track by paying a visit to a Formula 1 grand prix earlier this month.
The UFC star was a guest of the Haas team at the British Grand Prix and seemed to be a lucky charm for the F1 minnows, who secured a double points finish with drivers Mick Schumacher and Kevin Magnussen.
The Baddy and his entourage documented the day for a video for his YouTube vlog. After an early start from his home in Liverpool, Pimblett admitted he knew little about the sport, although he had watched Netflix’s Drive to Survive series, which goes behind the scenes of the sport.
He also revealed his favourite driver of all time is Ayrton Senna, whom he called an “absolute legend”. READ MORE: David Coulthard aimed rude hand gestures at Michael Schumacher on way to winning French GPPimblett added that F1 “wasn’t as Tory as golf” and said that many of the sport’s fans are working class.“I know you’ve got to be rich to be involved but a lot of the fans aren’t,” he said. “I know a few people who are big on F1 and they’re proper petty [petrol] heads, proper oily d****, they just love engines and having greasy fingers.”After a visit to the Haas HQ to pick up their passes, the Pimblett crew headed to Silverstone.
