Daniel Ricciardo has been urged to consider options outside Formula 1 following his McLaren sacking by former world champion Jenson Button.Ricciardo’s spell with the Woking team will end a year early at the close of 2022 following a hugely disappointing two years following his arrival from Renault (now Alpine).The Australian had been linked with Haas and a return to Alpine but with those seats set to go to other drivers, it looks as though he will have to settle for a reserve driver role for 2023. Ricciardo has said he would be open to such a move and has reportedly held talks with Mercedes and former team Red Bull. READ MORE: Daniel Ricciardo confides in Mark Webber amid Red Bull and Mercedes talks But it looks highly unlikely that a race seat will open up for him at either squad in 2024 when he would hope to be back on the grid.Button does not believe he would benefit from a third driver role, especially as he wouldn’t be eligible to take part in a practice session that teams are mandated to give to ‘young drivers’ on at least two occasions during the season.“Being a third driver for a driver of his calibre, it’s a very strange situation he’s found himself in,” Button, a former McLaren driver, told Sky Sports after practice at the Japanese Grand Prix.

Netflix dropped the full trailer for Scott Pilgrim Takes Off, the anime series based on the graphic novels created by Bryan Lee O’Malley. The series premieres on the streamer starting November 17. Watch the preview in the video posted above.

Michael Cera responded to a cast email for Scott Pilgrim vs. The World nine years late, producer Bryan Lee O’Malley has revealed.The original cast of the Edgar Wright‘s hit comedy are reuniting this year for a new anime series set to hit screens in November.In advance of the show, the cast and production team behind the series spoke to EW about the legacy of the 2010 film and how they wanted to reconnect with the film’s principals when making the new series.One thing they did to achieve this was revisit an old email chain between the cast and crew from around the time of the film.“The cast have spoken about this email chain a lot but there’s one detail that I don’t think anyone has mentioned,” O’Malley explained.

Netflix has released the first teaser trailer for its upcoming Scott Pilgrim Takes Off anime series.The trailer was unveiled yesterday (August 16), and comes just a few months ahead of the series’ release, which has now been confirmed for November 17 exclusively via the streaming platform.While the trailer doesn’t give much of the show’s plot away, it features scenes identical to Edgar Wright‘s 2010 live-action film, titled Scott Pilgrim vs. The World.

Netflix has announced that a Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World anime is on the way.The streaming service made the announcement today (March 30).

The adventures of Scott Pilgrim will be continue in an animated series for Netflix, 13 years after ‘Scott Pilgrim vs. the World’ was first released in theatres.

Joe Otterson TV Reporter The Netflix anime series based on the “Scott Pilgrim” graphic novels is bringing back the entire main cast of the film “Scott Pilgrim vs. The World” to voice their characters in the show. The show, which was first reported as being in development at Netflix in January 2022, has officially been ordered to series. The returning cast members are: Michael Cera (Scott Pilgrim), Mary Elizabeth Winstead (Ramona Flowers), Satya Bhabha (Matthew Patel), Kieran Culkin (Wallace Wells), Chris Evans (Lucas Lee), Anna Kendrick (Stacey Pilgrim), Brie Larson (Envy Adams), Alison Pill (Kim Pine), Aubrey Plaza (Julie Powers), Brandon Routh (Todd Ingram), Jason Schwartzman (Gideon Graves), Johnny Simmons (Young Neil), Mark Webber (Stephen Stills), Mae Whitman (Roxie), and Ellen Wong (Knives Chau). Additional cast members will be announced at a later date.
