Michael Schumacher's former manager “angry” at “lies” after being shut out by family

Michael Schumacher’s former manager says he is still “angry” that so little is known about the F1 icon’s health. Schumacher’s condition has been kept a closely guarded secret by his family since his devastating skiing accident in France in 2013, with details released kept to a minimum.

Even Willi Weber, who played such a key part in Schumacher’s career, has been kept in the dark, despite repeated attempts by the former manager to ascertain more clarity.And Weber, now 80, has hit out at the Schumacher family over their secrecy, telling La Gazzetta dello Sport: “I tried hundreds of times to contact Corinna [Schumacher’s wife] and she didn’t answer.

I didn’t expect behaviour like that and I’m still angry about it. They kept me out, telling me it’s too early, well now it’s too late.
