A UK billionaire has given a rare glimpse into his life as he celebrated his 72nd birthday.

On the day we catch up with billionaire John Caudwell, he’s celebrating his 72nd birthday on board his luxury superyacht Titania, docked in Monte Carlo, Monaco. Joined by his partner of 10 years, former Olympic cyclist Modesta Vžesniauskaitė, 41, and their two young children, it’s a rare pause for the normally difficult-to-pin-down philanthropist. So, is it tricky to buy a present for one of the world’s richest men? “Yes, because I’m extremely critical,” John, who also has a home in Mayfair, London, laughs.
