Tyson Fury will not lose his world title even if he is slapped with an eight-year ban. The heavyweight champion is set to be investigated by UK Anti-Doping for a second time over a failed drugs test after a farmer alleged the fighter's explanation was a lie.
Fury, and his fighting cousin Hughie, claimed they tested positive for high levels nandrolone in 2015 because they regularly ate castrated boar meat.
But Lancashire-based farmer Martin Carefoot now alleges he was asked to lie about providing the fighters with that meat in exchange for £25,000 he never received.
If found guilty of tampering with the original investigation - which resulted in a backdated two-year ban - the Furys could be suspended for eight years.
