Tyson Fury could be hit with an eight-year ban from boxing if he is found guilty of lying to investigators over claims that eating wild boar meat was responsible for illegal levels of nandrolone in his system in 2015.

The Mail on Sunday published an article in which Lancashire farmer Martin Carefoot claimed he was offered £25,000 by a member of Fury's entourage to say he supplied Tyson and cousin Hughie with wild boar meat.

Fury, 31, and his cousin - who also tested positive - blamed the result on eating large amounts of uncastrated wild boar. The 'Gypsy King' and his team all vehemently deny the allegations, while Fury's promoter Frank Warren put out a strong statement in response.
