Two toddlers escaped from a nursery with one young boy, aged just three, found wandering along the main road. One of the youngsters was said to have been quickly located, the other was spotted by worried members of the public as he was seen close to the dual carriageway with traffic whizzing past.
Management from Busy Bees Nursery confirmed they are investigating an incident which saw two "unsupervised" children leave the nursery in the Derriford area of Plymouth, on Monday, February 8.
Devon and Cornwall Police has confirmed officers were called shortly after 11am after receiving reports of a young child "walking on his own", Plymouth Live reports.
