Christopher Bullows and Mark Tucker were arrested after the bus was stopped at Dover Docks in September 2020. The coach was searched by the Border Force agents, who found 243 kilos of cocaine hidden in a specially constructed wastewater tank.
Bullows, 50, who was driving, told investigators from the National Crime Agency that he had taken the coach to Belgium so that the air conditioning system, which was under warranty there, could be repaired.
