Two in hospital after car crashes into tree with road shut

A black coloured saloon car collided with a tree, police said.There was a large emergency service response with fire crews attending along with paramedics and police.Greater Manchester Police (GMP) said the driver and a passenger were taken to hospital by ambulance.
