Two bodies found off Lancashire coast in search for missing brothers

got into difficulty in the water on Saturday off the Fylde coast in Lancashire.Muhammed and Ali's cousin also got into difficulty but he managed to swim to the shore and remains in hospital.

The brothers were discovered just after 3.15pm on Sunday afternoon, and are yet to be formally identified.Lancashire Police said their family has been notified and are continuing to be supported by a specially trained officer.

In a statement, the force said their "thoughts and condolences remain with them and their friends" and thanks the HM Coastguard and RNLI for their assistance.

Lancashire Police said: "Our HM Coastguard and RNLI colleagues searching for missing brothers Muhammad Azhar Shabbir (pictured on the left of the image), 18, and Ali Athar.
