A tragic 14-year-old killed in a motocross crash has helped save five other lives. The heartbroken family of Cory Hewer, from Ebbw Vale, south Wales, said that the teenager's organs had been donated on a GoFundMe page.
Cory was involved in an accident on Sunday, July 19, at a motocross track in Aberbeeg, Cwm, South Wales. The teenager and popular young rugby player died of his injuries on Tuesday, reports Wales Online.
His organs were donated and, according to a GoFundMe page to support his grieving family, have saved five other lives. Cory's family said he died doing something that he loved.
Tributes have been paid by Ebbw Vale Steelers where Cory played rugby as part of the under-13s team. A statement posted to the team's Twitter page
