Tragedy as woman dies on railway line in Manchester

manchestereveningnews.co.ukThe death of a female on railway tracks has been sadly confirmed by police. Emergency services were called to Mauldeth Road railway station in south Manchester on Saturday morning.

BTP officers were assisted by Greater Manchester Police officers. Sadly, paramedics pronounced the casualty dead at the scene.
BTP confirmed the death was not being treated as suspicious. A file of evidence will now be handed to a coroner ahead of a possible inquest.
