mirror.co.ukFormer TOWIE star Vas J Morgan has accused the show and broadcaster ITV of systemic racism. The 31-year-old says that as a black man, he was stereotyped and treated differently to his white castmates.
The star, whose real name is Savvas Morgan, appeared on the ITVBe show between 2014 and 2019 and says he often raised his concerns with producers, but that he was always ignored.
Vas, who has also appeared on Celebs Go Dating, says he was often uncomfortable with the situations he was put in, and that he repeatedly asked for other sides of his personality and life to be shown.
He hit out at the broadcaster in a lengthy statement after being pushed over the edge by the way he was silenced in a debate.
