Tom Hanks and his wife Rita Wilson have left hospital five days after testing positive for coronavirus. The 63-year-old actor was one of the first celebrities to publicly confirm he’d contracted the illness last week while staying in Australia ahead of shooting for Baz Luhrmann’s new Elvis Presley biopic, and was immediately taken to a hospital in Queensland for treatment.
However, a spokesperson for the couple has now confirmed that both Tom and Rita, also 63, have left hospital Australia’s Gold Coast and are now quarantining themselves in their rental home.
